Experiential education at its best! Our Study Abroad Programs offer students the chance to earn credits while applying academic skills in a different culture. It’s truly a broadening experience—both academically and personally!
We enjoyed highlights in 2013 from Country Directors Alan Hodson and Tom Kosiba as they explored the country. From January 1 – 23, 2014 we’ll follow the adventures of Program Director Lindsay Cox and Academic Director Alan Hodson as they lead students in their exploration of Human Ecology & Service Learning to develop an understanding of the intersection of humans and ecosystems. Their travels will include:
- First-hand exploration of ecosystems and people’s interactions with those systems
- Hands-on experience working with local people and organizations on community projects
- Methods include readings, lectures, discussions, writing, guided reflection and visual journaling
You can follow all their adventures in Chile here through this photo journal and join us on facebook for more conversations.
